1. Incident Overview

During Season 2 of *THE FINALS*, the entity CNS successfully executed a code injection attack against the MultiCo Arena Network. The attack manifested as a widespread environmental corruption, destabilizing the simulation and posing a direct threat to contestant data integrity and broadcast continuity. Standard firewall protocols proved insufficient against this novel, chaotic attack vector.

2. The Inadequacy of Reactive Measures

Initial attempts by MultiCo to isolate and patch the corrupted code were ineffective. The CNS malware was designed to be parasitic and metamorphic, constantly changing its signature and embedding itself deep within the arena's core AI logic.
